Cue Name What you want to see Time Delay Fade ?
Anything that does not fit in a cue comment — mood, references, what matters in this number. This goes to the lighting designer, not the desk.
The songs in this show.
How this works

You set the timing and say what you want. You are not making the lighting — you are telling the designer when each moment happens and what it should feel like. He builds the actual cues on the desk from what you write here.

The wave bar at the bottom is your song. Press play, or click anywhere to jump there. Scroll your mouse wheel over it to zoom in; hold shift and scroll to move along. The orange triangles are the cues.

To move a cue, drag its triangle along the wave, or type the time in the table. To change a fade, drag the round dot at the triangle's point — the wide end is where the fade starts, the point is where it finishes.

“What you want to see” is written into the show file itself, so it is in front of the designer while he works. Keep it short and plain: “slow warm build”, “hard white flash”, “back to the previous look”.

The ? box means “I do not know what I want here — you decide”. Use it freely; it is more useful than a guess.

Several of you can work on this at once. If someone else changes a cue you were also editing, you will be told and asked which version to keep — nothing is overwritten silently.
